MALT meeting 2016

Information regarding the MALT meeting, Helsingborg, Sweden

Scientific MALT and STAFF meetings are described in an article published in the May-June 2016 issue of The Journal of Electrocardiology. 

 

MALT2016 meeting dates: June 15-18 2016

Helsingborg is a 1.5 hour train ride from Copenhagen Airport. Trains depart every 20 minutes, for some departures you have to change trains at Malmö Central station.Tickets can be bought at the Airport in the “Skanetrafiken” ticket machines by credit card. Please note that valid ID (e.g. passport) is needed to get entry to Sweden. Hotel rooms are booked at the hotel from June 15-18.

There will be a welcome reception with a buffet June 15 19.00.
The scientific program starts June 16 at 8.00 and ends June 17 at 17.30.

 

Thursday afternoon social event: A trip to the island of Ven in the middle of Oresund between Sweden and Denmark. We will leave by bus 13.15 and take a boat-trip from Landskrona harbour 14:15 with return to the harbour 20:55. There will be a tour of the island including the museum of Tycho Brahe and dinner.
Friday night conference dinner from 19.00 will have a Young Investigator Award ceremony.

The registration fee will be slightly below 600 euros and includes the conference facilities, the hotel room from June 15-18, the buffet dinner, breakfasts, coffee breaks, lunches, the social event and the conference dinner.
Registration fee will be paid by credit card at the hotel. The hotel will contact you by e-mail, and your registration will be secured by providing your credit card number. If you are arriving later than June 15 or do not need a hotel room, the price will be adjusted accordingly.

If you have special requests for food please notify the hotel by e-mail.
