Additional Lund University Infrastructures

There is other excellent infrastructures at Lund University. Providing opportunities for research in Life Science.Below you will find some examples:

4D imaging Lab at LTH

The 4D imaging lab is a state-of-the-art facility for 3D and 4D imaging of internal structures of bulk materials and objects based in the laboratories of the Division of Solid Mechanics at the Faculty of Engineering (LTH) at Lund University. The facility is centred around a high resolution laboratory 3D x-ray microscope (tomograph) (Zeiss Xradia XRM520), which enables 3D imaging with resolutions of 700 nm. Study objects range from geological samples to biomedical samples and engineering components to food products.

U-READ - Rapid Engineered Antibody Development

U-READ at LTH provides users with development of human antibody fragments using combinatorial library technology and associated assay technologies. Available assay systems include e.g. high-throughput systems for studies of molecular interactions (SPR) and high-throughput systems for flow cytometry-based analysis of cells and beads. The core facility is available for researchers at Lund University.

The facility includes:

  • Unit for Rapid Engineered Antibody Development (U-READ)
  • MASS-1 SPR instrumentation (8 channel, sensitive SPR)
  • iQue Screener Plus flow cytometer (3 lasers; 15 analysis parameters; 96- and 384-well format)
