Seminars

For doctoral PhD students:
It is compulsory for full time and part time PhD Students admitted to PhD studies as of 2019-01-01, to participate in at least six seminars per year for three years within the subject Medical sciences.

For instance, the seminars could be scientific presentations  within a seminar series, but also theses defences, halfway reviews or equivalent. So called journal clubs, as well as meetings and seminars with a scientific focus within the research group where the PhD students presents and/or discusses others´ research can be included, but can not constitute the majority of the number of seminars.  Exactly which seminars should be part of the PhD students individual program should be specified in the individual study plan and the participation will be reported within the course Generic Knowledge and Skills.

For PhD students admitted to the program as of 2021-01-01, participation in the seminar Writing the thesis summary is mandatory.  A link to the seminar page can be found here

For licentiates:
