Letters and parcels by courier
Lund University has a procured agreement regarding freight services. The agreement concerns freight services regarding documents and goods as a part of Lund University’s research- and education activity.
The agreement regarding freight services has been procured to cover the need for shipments with special requirements. These requirements may refer to weight, size, content (e.g. dangerous goods or goods with temperature requirements) and delivery times. Example of shipments are courier packages.
The agreement regarding freight services completes the service that the University Postal Service and PostNord provides via LuPak, which can be used for regular postal parcels.
The agreement for freight services includes:
- A: Shipments without special requirements for delivery times within and outside Sweden
- B: Shipments with requirements for short delivery times within and outside Sweden
The agreement has a ranking (valid for both agreement A and B):
- DHL Express
- Your Special Delivery Service
- World Courier
When ordering, you must first ask the supplier that is ranked as number 1 on the framework agreement. If the supplier that is ranked as number 1 cannot perform the service of the request, then proceed to the supplier that is ranked as number 2 on the framework agreement, and so on.
In Lupin you will found more information about booking routines and also the agreement regarding freight services.
