Future Faculty is an organization of researchers with a doctoral degree (PhD), who have not yet obtained a permanent/tenured position at the University. The aim of Future Faculty is to improve the conditions for young and future researchers at the Faculty of Medicine and to promote development of a career system at all levels. We offer activities, information and services for continuous career development and we provide support to postdocs and young researchers by organizing seminars, workshops and networking opportunities throughout the year.
Information session with the Academic Appointment Board
Have you ever considered applying for a Senior Lecturer (universitetslektor) or an Associate Senior Lecturer (biträdande universitetslektor) position?
Then book February 27th for an open information session with professor Måns Magnusson, chair of the Academic Appointments Board (Lärarförslagsnämnden), and Kajsa Johnsson, head of recruitment at the Faculty of Medicine. During the seminar you will get information about the recruitment process for teacher positions and the Faculty strategy on future positions. There will also be time for questions. Time and venue: February 27th, 1.30-3.30 pm in the Belfrage room (BMC). The session will also be streamed live to CRC, Malmö, Room 28-11-026. Register for the event before February 25th HERE

Career paths and independence: Lunch Seminar with Young Group Leaders
Join us for a lunch seminar with three talented young group leaders from the Faculty of Medicine on career paths and independence. The speakers will talk about their personal experiences, the challenges and opportunities a young investigator can be faced with and offer their best advice for young researchers.

The speakers are:

The seminar ends with a mingle session with a lunch buffet that is included for all registered participants. Sandwiches will be provided in Malmö.
