Resources for young researchers

Information channels

Careers Centre

The Medical Faculty´s Careers Centre offers activities and information regarding career issues to PhD students, post docs and other young researchers.

Mailing lists and Faculty newsletter

There are a couple of e-mailing lists for groups of employees at the faculty, to spread information targeting a specific group.

The Faculty newsletter is sent out by e-mail every second Tuesday with info on upcoming events etc. Career related events are announced in the newsletter so take on the habit to scroll it through. If you do not get the letter automatically you can sign up for it by contacting newsletter@med.lu.se.

Mycareer.lu.se

If you are considering a career outside Academia and haven´t already signed up for mycareer.lu.se you may wish to do so. It is an LU job portal which posts job alerts and info on career related events. Neither jobs nor events are specifically focusing on PhD students but rather adress all students, including undergraduate and master students. However, some events may be of great interest also to PhD students and other young researchers.
