Clinical MR

Part-time availability of the clinical MR systems for LBIC research users is facilitated in cooperation with the Center for Medical Imaging and Physiology, Department for Neuro-radiology, Skåne University Hospital, Lund. Scanners that are available after adequate application (see “User support”) are Siemens Magnetom SKYRA (3T), Siemens Magnetom PRISMA (3T) and Siemens MAgnetom Aera (1.5 T), allowing advanced MR studies comprising e.g. morphological imaging (MRI), diffusion imaging (DWI), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), MR spectroscopy (MRS), MR angiography (MRA), functional MR (fMRI) and perfusion MR (PWI).
