Could you please tell me why you choose to attend/start an education in sport science?
Being a physiotherapist I have always tried to explore more in the field of sports physiotherapy and medicine. My lust and lure for knowledge always compels me to search a new horizon in sports sciences. I am very much interested in Physical Performance, Developmental Exercise, Fitness Prescription and medicine. I believe that Master in sports sciences and sports medicine will offer me the greatest opportunity to expand my education.

Why Sweden and Lund?
I have always been very much interested in the Nordic countries and its welfare, education-standard and high level of social values. The passion for soccer in Sweden leads this nation towards more and advance research in the field of sport.
Lund University has a good reputation worldwide. To be able to study in a top 100 university is just like a dream coming true. The University is also renowned for its research and teaching and I can expect high-quality teaching, learning and leisure opportunities with an exceptional level of personal support.

What do you wish to fulfil/achieve with the education?
I set some goals for my life. These goals are better and healthy way of living. I want to make a platform for my family and for my future career in which I can attain a respected and wealthy status in the society. In my opinion education is the best way to achieve these goals. I believe that education is the basic pillar for success.

What is your plan after completing the education?
I want to study more in the field of sports. My first preference will be to secure a PhD position.
On the other hand I would like to search for a job. So it depends on the opportunity.

Is the education what you hoped it to bee?
Yes I am very much content with the education. With no hesitation, I would like to say that the curriculum is very much ideal for students who want to get a master in sports sciences.

Why Sweden and Lund?
It has always been a dream to live and study in another country. When the time came to decide where to go the choice was easy. Sweden and especially Lund fulfilled my requirements; a place with a school who has a good reputation, and good environment for kids and family, which was important as I´m married and father of three boys. I lived in Malmö when I was 2-3 years old, when my father was studying, I wanted to come back and learn the language and experience the Swedish culture, 30 years later.

Good recommendation for Lund is also the closeness with Kastrup International Airport in Copenhagen, which makes traveling for me and my guests easier.

What do you wish to fulfill/achieve with the education?
I have been involved in sports, since 1982. For the last ten years I have been coaching and teaching children, teenagers and adults in all kind of sports. I have experience and prior education in Sports. I’m here to attempt to fulfill my need for a deeper and advanced understanding, knowledge and skills in the mental part of sports and to increase my other knowledge of sports. Through my working experience as a Head Principal for five years in an Elementary School, I know that to advanced knowledge in the mental part of sports is an advantage in management and leadership in other fields than sports. In other words, I´m hoping that this education will help me to become better prepaid for live.

What is your plans after completing the education?
I want to work around and within the fields of sports after completing the Master programme in Sport Science, in Sweden or back home in Iceland (open for other possibilities;)). I´m looking for the opportunity to lead and/or influence sport development.

Is the education what you hoped it to bee?
So far so good. Yes the education has given me some broader perspectives in certain context, and also given my thoughts and experiences names. But the most intresting part so far is the people forming my class. Always fun to meet new people and making new friends. To meet people from other countries and/or with diffrent cultural background, is often a underestimated education and experience.

Could you please tell my why you choose to attend/start an education in sport science?
As a medical student I was extremely interested in sports medicine. I decided to go abroad, in the pursuit of an experience. The I found this programme.

Why Sweden and Lund?
I visited Sweden when I was 15 years old. I liked Sweden a lot, the friendly people and the good view. Lund has an excellent university with a good reputation. The climate here is better than in the north of Sweden.

What do you wish to fulfill/achieve with the education?
I want to gain not certification and the skills in this domain.

What is your plans after completing the education?
Back to China is my final decision, but maybe I will go to other countries for the doctoral degree.
