The preparatory program in Stem Cell Biology (30 ECTS) aims to prepare the students for further studies at the postgraduate level and to get advanced knowledge of Stem Cell Biology.
The program includes both theoretical courses as well as a scientific research project and even if not directly linked to the PhD program serves as a major source for recruitment into PhD training.

2 weeks of introductory courses:
Scientific Society
Group meetings with all students in the preparatory program
Research Project
The research project will be conducted in a research group that belongs to Lund Stem Cell Center or a related research area at LU where the students follow the scientific program of the respective group. The research project is 20 weeks.
Examination
Public presentation of generated research results with selected examinator and a representative from the planning committee.
