The Research School in Stem Cell Biology can offer you the possibility to take part in the Practical Statistics for Post-doctoral Fellows in Medical Research organised by MultiPark Graduate School
The overall aim of the course is that after the course you should have gained extensive knowledge of statistical methodology in order to suggest appropriate methods for planning and evaluating common types of medical studies. These studies could be clinical, epidemiological or experimental. The intention is that you should obtain practical advice regarding statistical issues related to your own research, but the course should also make you more knowledgeable about, and make you able to critically assess, statistical methods used in medical research in general. The course will be given in English.
Target group: Post-doctoral fellows or graduate students who have already passed the compulsory statistics course. Active participation in at least three of the four full days and the examination workshop is mandatory in order to pass the course and receive a course certificate. Max 24 participants. Researchers associated with MultiPark and collaborating graduate schools (Bagadilico, CASE, Stem Cell) will be given priority to the course.
