The Lund Research School in Stem Cell Biology

The Lund Research School in Stem Cell Biology (RSSCB) is one of eight Research Schools sponsored the Swedish Research Council (VetenskapsrĂ„det, VR). The organization and administration of the school receives 1.15 million SEK per year for 10 years from the Research Council and we are also exploring options for additional funding in order to be able to increase the amount of courses and programs available.

The goal of the Research School is:

  •  Provide a possibility for all students with a relevant background to apply and compete for a position as a PhD student in Stem Cell Biology
  •  Facilitate the recruitment of excellent PhD students into the area of Stem Cell Biology
  •  To provide the PhD students and young researchers with all the necessary theoretical as well as practical tools that allows them to develop into independent scientists.
  •  To increase the interchange between different environments and areas of Stem Cell Biology.
