Education in stem cell biology

Lund Stem Cell Center offers a unique combination of researchers under the same roof. Our goal is to understand how stem cells are regulated to develop stem cell based therapies for clinical use. We are more then 20 independent groups specializing in stem cells from several organ system such as Blood, Brain, Heart and Pancreas as well as Mesenchymal stem cells, Embryonic stem cells and Induced pluripotent cells (see Figure).

We appreciate the importance of educating new young investigators and encourage therefore all highly motivated students to contact us for possible research projects, and the chance to educate your self in stem cell biology and take part in developing future therapies.
