BRAINS is a new research group established in 2008 in conjunction with the move from the Wallenberg Neuroscience Center to the new facilities in the D-House of the Biomedical Center. Several of the research projects were already established within the framework of the previous group structure which was called the CNS Disease Modeling Unit. Scientific staff of the team is a mixture of graduate students working towards their PhD degrees and post doctoral fellows as well as more senior scientists.
