Welcome to the Department of Laboratory Medicine in Malmö (DLMM). The department is part of the Faculty of Medicine at Lund University and is strategically located with Skåne University Hospital and Region Skåne’s laboratory medicine activities.

This facilitates a close collaboration with one of Europe’s newest and most modern infection clinics. Around 15 research groups – some of which are world-leading – conduct research in fields including cancer, protein chemistry and microbiology.

The department also contributes to the undergraduate part of the degree programme in Medicine offered by Lund University in Malmö.
