
The Canceromics Branch of the Division of Oncology, Department of Clinical Sciences, Lund University consists of a growing number of research units with independent principal investigators. The branch includes researchers, postdocs, students and technical staff, in all around 40 people located at the biomedical center BMC C13 and Kampradlaboratoriet, Skåne’s University Hospital. Thereby forming a creative research environment with internal interactions of various constellations, utilizing in-house genomics technology platforms (e.g. microarrays and next generation sequencing), databases and bioinformatics expertise, as well as cell line resources, biobank sample collections and clinical/pathological data.
2011-11-07 | Canceromics Branch researchers Mattias Höglund, Markus Ringnér, Carlos Rovira and Lao Saal all recieved research project grants from the Swedish Research Council. The grants were awarded from the general call for applications 2011 within medicine and health. The purpose of the grants is to support research projects 2012-2014.
2011-03-15 | Canceromics Branch researcher Göran Jönsson has been awarded a Young Investigator Award from the Swedish Cancer Society. The purpose of the award is to support full time research for 6 years.
