Welcome to Clinical Sciences Lund!
Clinical Sciences Lund intimately cooperate with Skåne University Hospital Lund, and the Medical Faculty in order to optimize the conditions for clinical, frequently translational, research, research strategies and the development, as well as education on both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Our organization parallells that in the university hospital and thus each specialty has its academic department.
Clinical Sciences Lund have in total 34 departments organized in four sections, and has the educational responsibility in e.g. the MD programme semesters 5-11, at present 376 registered PhD students with approximately 50 dissertations per year. It constitutes the largest unit within this level at Lund University.
