First meeting of Scientific Advisory Board

On Oct 24-26 2007, the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) for CASE had its
first meeting at the Deptartment of Health Sciences at Lund University.

The members of the SAB are:

Prof. Per-Gunnar Edebalk, Lund University (not present on photo) 
Prof. Sandra Rosenbloom, Arizona State University, USA
Prof. em., member of parliament, Barbro Westerholm, Stockholm
Prof. H-W. Wahl (chair of the SAB), Heidelberg University, Germany
Prof. Eino Heikkinen, Jyväskylä University, Finland

The meeting started with an informal dinner at the Old Bishop's Houseat Lund University, with the SAB members, representatives of university and faculty managements at Lund University, CASE Steering Committee,senior and junior scientists present. Thereafter, during two intensive working days, the SAB listened to presentations of current research within CASE, discussed with PhD students, junior scientists and Steering Committee members, and came up with valuabel advice and recommendations for the establishment and development of the new Center.
