There are several possibilities to perform research projects at research labs around the Faculty, University or the rest of the world. At these pages we try to explain the differences between the different courses and what courses that can be uses in your exam. Part of the project is that you find your own lab where the project will be carried out and students should contact the Research group directly. Prerequisites: Bachelor degree in Biomedicine
Who can take this course: All students at the Master programme in Biomedicine. This course can be taken full time and substitute any of the eligible courses during the 2nd or 3rd semester, or as a part time course in parallel with other courses.
Notes: This course can not be part of your Master Exam Project
Prerequisites: One year studies at the Master Programme in Biomedicine
Who can take this course: This course is compulsory for all Master students accepted 2011 or earlier and is running part time during their 3rd semester.
Notes: This course can not be part of your Master's Thesis in Biomedicine
Prerequisites: Bachelor degree in Biomedicine (including Molecular Medicine)
Who can take this course: All students at the Master (or the old magister) program
Notes: This course can replace your Master's Thesis in Biomedicine (BIMM60). This course will be discontinued in August 2012.
Prerequisites: One year studies at the Master Programme in Biomedicine
Who can take this course: All Master in Biomedicine students
Notes: This is the formal Master's Thesis in Biomedicine course for a Master Degree in Biomedicine
Prerequisites: Bachelor degree in Biomedicine or 3 years of higher education in biomedicine
Who can take this course: Exchange students and incoming non-programme students.
Notes: This course is free-standing from the Master program me in Biomedicine and cannot replace your Master's Thesis in Biomedicine.
You can be grant a maximum of 3 scholarship for project course during the summers. These courses are arranged by the Post Graduate Education Committee. These courses cannot replace your Master's Thesis in Biomedicine or VMFN17.
This course is given by the Post Graduate Education Committee as a preparatory course for future PhD studies. Please note that this course cannot replace your Master's Thesis in Biomedicine.
This is a preparatory program in Stem Cell biology. This course cannot replace the Master's Thesis in Biomedicine BUT if you are admitted to this course you can be registered at the BIMM60 course and still participate in the preparatory program. Please contact the course leader at BIMM60 as soon as you are accepted and make sure that you get all the paperwork done in advance.
