Summer stipends, 2012

The research education committee announces partially financed summer stipends of 2 months .The stipend should be used for research work during 8 weeks beginning June and ending August 2012. It is financed by 50% from the faculty and 50% by the supervisor and the research group. Apply at http://www.sommarstipendier.med.lu.se/. The application form must also be printed out and signed and send to the Medical faculty office by Jan 30, 2012 at the latest! Address to the Medical Faculty office:

When you apply you don´t need to have a supervisor and/or a project. Those students who will be given the stipends will be called to a project presentation during spring. Supervisors and projects will be presented there. A project description and information about the supervisor should be handed in May 2, 2012 for assessment and approval by the summer stipend planning group. The project may well be a long-term project but should be constructed  in a way that the student may reach some result during the two month period. The work carried out may be presented as an a part of an optional extended essay but must not be used as a mandatory part of the undergraduate studies.

Summers stipends

The programme is for 15 hp in LADOK and starts with the mandatory project presentation on March 6 to facilitate the choice of project. The project work then starts June 4 with an introduction day. On Sept 13 the project will be presented with both an abstract (approx. one A4-page) and on oral presentation for the other scholars and for the management team. The stipend amounts to 19 260 SEK (9 360 SEK/month, tax free)
