Hanna Lindgren has received Vetenskapsrådet’s (The Swedish Research Council’s) postdoc scholarship to go to Cardiff, Wales for two years.
Hanna Lindgren will be working in The Brain Repair Group, directed by Professor Stephen Dunnett and Professor Anne Rosser.
– I will continue within Parkinson research, but will focus on neuropsychiatric symptoms that are common among the patients, especially symptoms like depression and cognitive problems, says Hanna Lindgren.
– The plan is to return to Lund eventually, as the scholarship also includes one year in Sweden, she continues.
Hanna Lindgren did her Ph.D. in Angela Cenci Nilsson's group and defended her Ph.D. thesis, Presynaptic mechanisms in L-Dopa-induced dyskinesia, in March.
